What a toilet host does.

  • What exactly does a toilet host do?
    A toilet host makes sure the restrooms at your event stay clean, hygienic and welcoming. They tidy up, refill toilet paper, soap and hand towels, keep an eye on everything and greet guests with a smile.
  • Which tasks does a toilet host actually perform during the event?
    Our hosts work in fixed rounds and keep the restroom area in top shape all evening. Concretely:
    • Refilling toilet paper, soap, hand towels and luxury items
    • Periodic cleaning of toilet seats, bowls and urinals
    • Periodic mopping or drying of the floor
    • Keeping sinks, taps and mirrors spotless
    • Emptying or replacing bin liners as needed
    • Refreshing the room with scent and perfume
    • Welcoming guests and acting as a discreet point of contact for small mishaps (stain, plaster, needle & thread, ...)

    Frequency is adapted to guest numbers and traffic. For larger events we plan extra rounds or a second host.

  • Do your hosts also act as a point of contact?
    Yes. They don’t just look after hygiene, they’re also a discreet point of contact for visitors who have a question or run into a small mishap.
  • Are toilet hosts only women?
    No. Despite our name "toiletdames" (toilet ladies), we don’t make a distinction between genders. Professionalism and hospitality matter more than gender.

Events & use cases.

  • For which events can I hire toilet hosts?
    For weddings, corporate parties, festivals, VIP events, trade fairs and private parties. Small or large: wherever guests use restrooms, we make the difference.
  • Do you cover multi-day events or festivals?
    Yes, we provide toilet hosts for anywhere from one day to multiple days or weeks. We also handle team coordination for larger productions.
  • Can you arrange host(s) last-minute?
    If we have availability: yes. In that case give us a call straight away for the fastest follow-up.
  • Do you also work at festivals and outdoor events?
    Yes. Our hosts work equally well in fixed sanitary blocks as in festival toilets and mobile units. We provide team coordination for larger productions.

Region & availability.

  • Where are you active?
    Across Belgium, with many jobs in Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent. Outside Belgium we look at the possibilities together.
  • How far in advance should I book?
    Preferably a few weeks ahead, especially during high season (May–September). Last-minute is possible, but only if we have a slot.

Pricing & conditions.

  • What does a toilet host cost per hour?
    From €40 per hour excl. VAT per host. For longer assignments or multiple hosts we make clear price agreements.
  • How many toilet hosts do I need?
    A guideline:
    • Up to 500 guests → 1 host
    • 500–1000 guests → 2 hosts
    • Larger events or festivals → multiple hosts + coordination
  • How can I pay?
    You receive an invoice. Private clients and new customers pay upfront; recurring clients are invoiced afterwards.
  • What are your cancellation terms?
    Cancellation is possible per our general terms. Up to a certain deadline it’s free; closer to the event a fee may apply.

Extras & services.

  • Do you offer luxury extras too?
    Yes. On request: perfumes, hand cream, plasters, hair ties, scents, decoration and more. Turning every restroom visit into a VIP experience.
  • Do I need to provide supplies myself?
    Our toilet hosts generally bring their own kit. Toilet paper must always be provided by the client.
  • Can hosts work multilingually?
    Yes, most hosts speak Dutch and English. For larger events we arrange multilingual support.
  • Which products do you use?
    Our hosts work with professional cleaning supplies and a standard set of care products: hand soap, perfume, hand cream, deodorant, hand towels and small essentials like plasters and hair ties. On request we add extra luxury items.
  • What sets Toiletdames.be apart from other providers?
    We come from the event industry ourselves (Hands 4 Events, active since 2010) and have worked specifically with toilet hosts since 2014. That means 500+ events of experience, a vetted host pool, included supplies and short communication lines for festival and wedding teams.

Reliability & insurance.

  • What if a host gets sick or drops out?
    We immediately try to arrange a replacement so your event continues smoothly. In rare cases a replacement may not be available, but that happens very rarely.
  • Are your hosts insured?
    Yes. Our staff is insured through Hands 4 Events. You don’t need to arrange any extra insurance.
  • How do you handle privacy and discretion?
    Our hosts work professionally and discreetly. No photos, no videos — only care and hygiene.
